In the fourth quarter of 2023, the interactive story games category has seen remarkable activity on the iOS platform in Europe. Sensor Tower's comprehensive data provides us with insights into the performance of the top applications in this genre.

Chapters: Interactive Stories from Crazy Maple Studio, Inc. showed a strong quarter, with downloads peaking at 39K in late October before dropping to 3K in early November and then recovering to 26K by the end of December. Revenue followed a similar trajectory, spiking to 159K in late October, then dramatically falling to 15K in early November, and climbing back up to 152K by Christmas week. Weekly active users (WAUs) reflected this pattern, reaching a high of 155K and dipping to 120K in November, before climbing back to 126K by the year's end.

Episode Interactive's Episode - Choose Your Story also experienced fluctuations, with downloads starting at 21K in late September, reaching 26K in late October, and then surging to 44K during the Christmas week. Revenue trends were less volatile, with a steady increase from 62K to 110K over the quarter.
